Stitch at SXSW

See me speak at SXSW 2009 (http://sxsw.com) Stitch Media is heading to Austin, TX this March to take part in the interactive festival of South By Southwest.

On Saturday March 14, Evan Jones will be moderating a panel discussion on QR code technology called Building a Bridge with Barcodes. The panel will look at the impact QR codes have made on mobile internet around the world and the potential this technology has for North America. Panelists include Stan Wiechers (Semapedia), Daniel Switkin (Google), Dustin Haisler (Manor, Tx), and Antony McGregor Dey (QM Codes).

On Tuesday March 17, Victoria Ha will be speaking on a panel called The Future of Visual Storytelling is Interactive — Or Is It? – moderated by James Milward (Secret Location). This panel will explore the opportunities, challenges, technical and usability issues and whether any one actually cares about interactive films. Panelists include Mark Pytlik (Stink Digital, UK), Phil Stuart (Technical Director of Pre-loaded), and Rick Web (COO of The Barbarian Group).

We’re excited to be attending SXSW and look forward to the warm Austin weather. If you’d like to meet up while we’re there, drop us a note at ‘contact+sxsw at stitchmedia.ca’.
