Bell Sympatico‘s new finance site, yourmoney.ca has launched “Saving Penny” a weekly web-based video series produced by Stitch Media and directed by Mark Mullane (This Hour Has 22 Minutes).

The world of finance is overwhelming, so the temptation for most people is to enjoy life now instead of worrying about the future. “Saving Penny” empowers viewers to take control of their lives financially through relatable anecdotes from engaging characters and cool animated visuals that demystify complex economic issues.

In each episode, Penny (Sarah McCarthy) is forced to confront her personal money issues head on with the help of her boyfriend Doug (Dan Beazley) and best friends Allison (Lauren Arens) and Jane (Alexandra Matheson).
