Redress Remix Revealed

rrolog

On Friday August 21, Stitch Media held a press conference in Toronto, Ontario to announce the new title of our latest project, Redress Remix. The three part documentary series and partner interactive website tackles one of the most controversial Canadian government decisions of our time: the official 2006 apology to the Chinese Canadian community. The project features several different subjects who each contribute their own unique perspective and personal experience, while answering the question ‘why now?’ Trevor Chan, a DJ and turntable artist, is one of these voices, and he attended the press conference to share his experience as a participant in the documentary. He was joined by producers Victoria Ha and Evan Jones of Stitch Media, Lesley Loksi-Chan the director of the film, and Dr. Joseph Wong who is also one of the subjects in the film. The press had a sneak peak with excerpts from the film showcasing some of the animation and photography layered within the project.
